Drum roll please
After over a year of looking at a dozen schools, applying to nine of them, and visiting 3 finalists, the elder penguin has chosen to go to (drum roll please) Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
His final visit to Pomona was a good one, but Northwestern won out because he wants to write.

GA optimized tool for diagnosing “suicide disease.”
Researchers at Oregon Health & Science University have developed an online tool, based on artificial neural networks optimized by genetic algorithms, to diagnose trigeminal neuralgia, sometimes referred to as “suicide disease”. Read the full news report here.
