Noriko Imafuji Yasui takes best paper at ICEIS
IlliGAL postdoc Noriko Imafuji Yasui (and her coauthors Llora, Goldberg, Washida & Tamura) took the best paper award at the 9th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (ICEIS 2007) in Portugal last week. The paper Delineating Topic and Discussant Transitions in Online Collaborative Environments is available in pdf format here.

Singularity Institute blog starts
Inspired by Ray Kurzweil's writing, the Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence is cranking up its operations, and it recently inaugurated its blog here.
