Billion-bit paper wins best paper award in EDA track at GECCO-2007
The paper “Towards routine billion-bit optimization via a parallel estimation of distribution algorithm” co-authored by Kumara Sastry, David E. Goldberg, and Xavier Llorà won the best paper award in estimation of distribution algorithms (EDAs) track at GECCO-2007.
