Engineering and Technology Studies at Illinois

Billy Koen, University of Texas at Austin mechanical engineering professor, will kick off the Engineering, Technology & Culture Lecture Series (see here) from 12 noon-1 pm in B02 Coordinated Science Lab (CSL), giving a talk from his work in the philosophy of engineering. Professor Koen is author of Discussion of the Method: Conducting the Engineer’s Approach to Problem Solving (Oxford, 2003), and the lecture defines engineering method and generalizes it to universal method.
